Funko Pop 1492 Recoome

Recoome is a fictionnal character from the Dragon Ball Japanese media franchise.  Recoome is a member of the Ginyu Force.  He is the most flamboyant member as he is seen striking poses more often in battle than Captain Ginyu himself and generally behaving in a deceptively goofy manner.  Recoome is very tall and muscular and is distinctly human in appearance.  He has shaggy orange hair, beady eyes, and a cleft chin. He wears a green scouter on his left eye, a white Ginyu Force variant of the Battle Armor with a short black jumpsuit under it, white gloves and white boots.  On one of his chestplates he has the Ginyu Force's symbol.  Racoome is a very comical character, betting Candy over fights and playing Rock-Paper-Scissors to see who will fight who. Although he appears quite brutish and simple, Recoome is fairly intelligent, not to mention sadistic, taking great joy in the suffering of his foes.  Unlike the other members of the Ginyu Force, Recoome's personality lingers more towards that of a dim-witted bully.  This can be seen as he greatly enjoys toying with his opponents and drawing them in with taunts.  Despite his mean-streak, he seems to be very close to his comrades, especially to Guldo, as he is constantly cheering him up in battle and is shocked by his death.  He is also the most ostentatious and energetic of the group; almost always striking poses and getting in other people's faces, and also seeming to never take his fights as seriously as the other members.

Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation.  Part of the Dragon Ball media franchise, it is the sequel to the 1986 Dragon Ball television series and adapts the latter 325 chapters of the original Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama.  The series aired in Japan on Fuji TV from April 1989 to January 1996 and was later dubbed for broadcast in at least 81 countries worldwide.  Dragon Ball Z continues the adventures of Son Goku in his adult life as he and his companions defend the Earth against villains including aliens (Vegeta, Frieza), androids (Cell), and magical creatures (Majin Boo).  At the same time, the story parallels the life of Goku's son, Gohan, as well as the development of his rivals, Piccolo and Vegeta.  Due to the success of the series in the United States, the manga chapters making up its story were initially released by Viz Media under the Dragon Ball Z title.  The anime's popularity has also spawned various media and merchandise that has come to represent the majority of the material within the Dragon Ball franchise, including films, home video releases, soundtracks, trading cards, and video games.  Dragon Ball Z remains a cultural icon through numerous adaptations and re-releases, including a remastered broadcast titled Dragon Ball Z Kai.  Dragon Ball Z has since been followed by a sequel series titled Dragon Ball GT (1996–1997) and a midquel series titled Dragon Ball Super (2015–2018).
